This starts a series of production photos, some taken during a photo call and others during the final dress rehearsal of "Proof." The play's issues of mental health, genius, trust for others, and grieving a lost family member are enhanced by the stage lighting, which used patterns or "gobos" to create the effect of light coming through trees, onto a back porch in a Chicago neighborhood.
