Tiffany in the dunes

Posted by Ken McCoy (Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United States) on 7 September 2008 in People & Portrait.

This stretch of beach is part of the Canaveral National Seashore, and has been protected from commercial development. The preservation of the dunes has been especially valuable, since because of recent hurricanes, the beach on the developed part of New Smyrna Beach is being eroded away, while the vegetation on the dunes helps to preserve the beach here, only a few miles south. Thank goodness!

Thanks, Tiffany!
