Very nicely composed. Why should there be any romance to train tracks? Yet there is something about them... in my head I'd probably also be hearing Arlo Guthrie's "Riding on the City of New Orleans..." in this spot.

@bronzebilly u.k.: Thanks for this and yesterday's comments, Billy! I actually layered the image - one exposed for the ground and the other for the sky - then I put the two together.
It was an experiment in shooting in the raw NEF Nikon format (no compression). I think it gives the leaves and the rocks more definition. Yesterday's image was also shot in NEF.

I would go with this one rather than the B/W. They are both great, though! I love the colors and how it just looks like a picture perfect painting! Great shot!
