Oaxaca, Mexico 1984. This has always been one of my favorite Mexico photos: it so clearly takes me back to the day when I shot it. I thought about giving it a sepia treatment, but the more I tinkered, the more I became convinced to let it stand on its own. Somehow, it seems to retain its purity that way.
Shot on Tri-X, scanned with a Canon DiMage neg scanner.

"Ok, here's how the next theme's going to work. I want it to be open to anyone, but there's a catch: if you comment on my photos until the middle of April, I'll send you the details (Aminus3 members only naturally). Then once you have them, you can pass them along to anyone who comments on your photos. This way, we can play a fun game of whispers, and see what we come up with at the end. Of course, you can let me know if you're not interested." -Please visit Damon Schreiber's Photoblog at http://electro.aminus3.com/

Great shot in B&W - I love the composition and tones. Not a combination of plants you'd see in NZ!!
