Con Belisa

@Kheoh Yee Wei: The storyline is hard to follow, not only because of the author's style expressionstic writing style, but also because the group that presented it further sublimated plot in favor of iconographic character and conceptual staging. In a few words, the play was presented as a dream of Belisa (the woman in the fetal position), from whom the power to use her legs to walk was removed, in which she lamented the loss of her much older lover, don Perlimplin (represented by a marionette). As a counterpoint to her agony was a caretaker-maid-seductress (woman at lower right), who was a combination of several characters in the play all rolled into one, and even given some of the lines of don Perlimplin.
