About Ken McCoy
the dream stage = A theatre professor and practitioner, I've been shooting life in the theatre and the theatricality of life since 1984. - OK, that's a little pretentious, I admit. I began photography because I took a trip to Mexico as a student and wanted to remember it better; I continued because I wanted to document my theatre work; then I began to help out actor friends and students with headshots. I am now at the stage where I am working with models on their portfolios, and considering hanging out a shingle and opening up shop as an entertainment photographer. Not full-time - I am fully employed as a college professor - but when I see how much money some of my actor friends pay professional photographers for mediocre images, I am tempted to give it a try. ANY comments -- on image quality, content, point-of-view, models, lighting, post-processing, gut reactions, or whatever -- are very much appreciated. - Ken Photography EquipmentNikon D90, D70, D50 digital SLRs; Nikon SB-600 flash(es) |
